
Garner Independence Day Celebration

Lake Benson Park | 5 pm
Join us for an evening of fun for the whole family featuring a performance by the North Carolina Symphony.
Your children will love our Kids Adventure Zone featuring inflatables, games and crafts. Bring a picnic, or enjoy delicious concessions provided by food trucks and local non-profit organizations. Top off your evening with the best fireworks show in the Triangle, and you'll see why our citizens are so proud of their hometown.
Fireworks immediately follow the NC Symphony performance (approximately 9:30 pm)

Friday Family Flicks & Camping: Smallfoot
Enjoy a free family-friendly movie outdoors at Lake Benson Park. Bring your own picnic dinner or purchase light concessions on site. Those interested in spending the night at the park may camp out for a small per-family fee. (Pre-registration is required for camping.) Only one adult needs to register.
Note: Registration is only required for those planning on camping. The movie is free and open to the public.

Memorial Day Observance
This annual observance honors those who died while serving our country in the armed forces. Guided tours of the Garner Veterans Memorial will be conducted before the event and after its conclusion. Co-sponsored by Garner Veterans Advisory Committee, American Legion Post 232 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10225.

The Garner Optimist Club’s Reverse Raffle is a Garner tradition and this year includes silent auction with some pretty sweet auction items.

Lions Club Lobster Roll/Chicken Strip Plate Fundraiser
All plates will be pre-sold so see a Garner Lion for tickets beginning June 4, 2019.
