Foundation is work under way for the Historic Depot move in preparation of housing a local history museum at the corner of Main Street and Pearl Street.

Total Construction employee Elmore O'Neil shows an artifact found while digging footings on site of the former Dupree house, circa 1850s, gone now. It appears to be an old window weight, technology for aiding the raising and lowering of windows.

Bricks and possibly an ash dump were also unearthed.
